Ivy Learning Trust in the United Kingdom is seeking a caring Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join the Early Years team on a maternity cover for two terms. The role runs 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week during term time from January to August 2027.
You will support groups and individuals, supervise breaks and lunchtimes, and contribute to an outstanding learning environment with a coaching and team-teaching approach. Visits encouraged, DBS and safeguarding checks apply.
We are looking for someone who is caring, flexible, shows initiative and is a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to work as part of our Early Years team to provide Maternity cover for 2 terms.
You should have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the needs of young children in large and small groups and as well as on an individual basis. The successful candidate will also have the ability to approach tasks with enthusiasm, positivity, energy and commitment.
Duties will also include break and lunchtime supervision.
Hours: 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
Total of 37.5 hours per week (term time only) January to August 2027.
