Job summary

Breedon Group plc in Clatchard Quarry, Newburgh, seeks a detail-oriented Materials Technician to perform laboratory and site testing of aggregates, concrete, asphalt and soils, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You will record and report results, assist audits, and help QA processes while working outdoors and in the lab with testing equipment.

Essential GCSEs in Maths, Science and English, a valid UK driving licence, and a practical, safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths, Science and English are required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.
• Willingness to work on both lab and site environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory and field testing on materials (soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt).
• Record, analyse and report test results accurately and promptly.
• Maintain equipment calibration and safety practices.
