Job summary

Speedibake, based in Bradford, seeks a proactive Logistics professional to control incoming goods and materials, issue items to manufacturing plants, and maintain the D365 system for stock levels and movements. You will support proactive H&S improvements and drive continuous improvement within stores operations.

Key duties include safety leadership, team development, communication across site stakeholders, and achieving logistics performance targets while improving efficiency and customer

Qualifications

• Computer literate. Word and Excel.
• Good communicator.
• Knowledge of D365 advantageous.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Teamwork.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Counter Balance / Reach forklift license.
• Leading a Team.
• IOSH Trained.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a zero-incident safety record through proactive measures and regular safety audits.
• Attend monthly Safety Committee sessions and ensure team participation.
• Ensure all safety protocols are up-to-date and strictly followed.
• Carry out all Safety related tours each week.
• Lead by example and plan adequate cover for holidays/absence.
• Carry out stock taking and ensure accurate system entries; arrange training as needed.
• Communicate within Logistics openly, honestly, and timely.
• Hold people accountable by recognizing good performance and managing under-performance.
