Humand Talent is recruiting for a Stores & Materials Controller in West Oxfordshire to help engineers and project teams have the right parts when needed.

This role is not a traditional warehouse job; it covers full stores and materials functions, stock records, and liaison with suppliers, with a focus on accuracy and reliability.

You'll gain exposure to manufacturing environments, work with Sage, and benefit from an established team and potential for further development.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, warehousing or stock control.
• Experience using Sage software.
• Organised and reliable with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and booking in parts and materials.
• Picking and issuing parts to engineers and project teams.
• Kitting materials against Bills of Materials.
• Booking stock in and out against projects.
• Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch.
• Carrying out stocktakes and rolling stock counts.
• Investigating and correcting stock discrepancies.
• Keeping stock records accurate and up to date.
• Maintaining well organised storage and stores areas.
• Supporting engineers with day to day parts and material requirements.
• Completing relevant paperwork and project documentation.
• Occasionally collecting parts from suppliers.
