Job summary

BPA is seeking a reliable Material Stores Person to oversee day-to-day materials stores operations at our Daventry facility. You will receive, store, identify, and issue aluminium, steel and other production materials, ensuring full traceability throughout production.

The role requires experience in a manufacturing environment, familiarity with stock control and ERP systems, and a proactive approach to maintaining quality, safety and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores/warehouse or engineering environment.
• Experience handling aluminium, steel or engineering materials.
• Understanding of material traceability and accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and book in deliveries of raw materials.
• Store and maintain a wide range of materials with traceability.
• Issue materials to production per manufacturing needs and cut to length when required.
• Maintain stock records using ERP and perform regular stock checks.
• Ensure a safe, clean stores environment and support continuous improvement.
