Job summary

United Kingdom Testing and Certification (UKTC) in East Kilbride is seeking a hands-on Stores Controller to manage materials handling, storage, and stock control for our fire testing operations. You will receive deliveries, organise storage, label items for traceability, and coordinate with build and test teams.

A forklift license, UK driving license, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required, with prior warehousing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have warehouse/stores experience and be able to manage stock and materials.
• Forklift license and driving license are required.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel/Word) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record all deliveries and verify against orders.
• Organise and store materials to maximise space and accessibility; label for traceability.
• Maintain stock records, raise purchase orders, and liaise with suppliers.
