Job summary

Humand in West Oxfordshire seeks a Stores & Materials Controller to keep engineers supplied with parts and materials. This is a practical, hands-on role focused on booking in items, checking deliveries, and maintaining accurate stock records.

You should be organized, reliable and comfortable in a busy environment. Experience in stores, warehousing or stock control plus familiarity with Sage is beneficial; a full UK driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven organisational ability and reliability in a hands-on role.
• Strong attention to detail to keep stock records accurate.
• Experience or familiarity with stock control, stores or warehousing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and booking in parts and materials.
• Checking deliveries against purchase orders.
• Picking and issuing parts to engineers and project teams.
• Kitting materials against Bills of Materials.
• Booking stock in and out against projects.
• Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch.
• Carrying out stocktakes and counts.
• Investigating stock discrepancies and correcting records.
• Keeping stores organized and records up to date.
• Supporting engineers with day-to-day material requirements.
• Completing relevant project paperwork and documentation.
• Occasionally collecting parts from suppliers.
