Job summary

Veolia in Shrewsbury is seeking a site-based operator to support the Plastics Recycling Facility. You will perform material sampling, maintain quality records, and assist with day-to-day admin duties while ensuring site rules are followed and housekeeping is kept to a high standard.

The role requires similar operational experience and good Health & Safety knowledge, with the right to work in the UK. A rotating shift pattern is in place and Veolia offers a range of benefits.

Responsibilities

• Carry out sampling of all materials, ensuring samples are representative of the materials being processed in line with our quality protocols.
• Accurate and timely completion of all paperwork.
• Ensure all sampling equipment is available and serviceable.
• Undertake daily administrative duties to support the facility.
• Act as a first point of contact for all site visitors, ensuring that they are aware of and adhere to site rules, policies and procedures.
• General housekeeping duties across the site to ensure it is kept clean and tidy.
