Job summary

Quest Employment are recruiting for Material Operatives for our prestigious client based in Denby, DE5. The company manufactures ceramic parts for the aerospace industry and offers a specialist manufacturing environment. Shifts are Monday to Friday with rotating 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm.

The rate is £14.62 per hour, paid weekly in arrears. Experience in warehouse, materials or manufacturing is desirable; forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, materials or manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to set procedures.
• Physically fit, as the role involves moving and handling materials.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• A forklift/FLT licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and supplying materials to the production areas.
• Moving materials safely around the site.
• Ensuring production areas have the correct materials available when required.
• Checking materials and quantities to ensure accuracy.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
• Following all company health and safety procedures.
• Supporting the wider production team to ensure the smooth running of operations.
