Job summary

Ambitions Personnel in Tallington is recruiting a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Tallington. As a Production Operative, you will operate production equipment safely, work as part of a team and independently, and help ensure products are manufactured to the required quality, safety and production standards.

You’ll rotate between 2:00pm-10:00pm and 6:00am-2:00pm shifts, in a busy production environment.

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and in line with Health & Safety procedures.
• Work as part of a team and independently within a busy manufacturing environment.
• Ensure products are manufactured to the required quality standards.
• Carry out general operative duties across different departments.
• Complete assembly work accurately and efficiently.
• Palletise large components for storage or dispatch.
• Pick and pack small parts against documented bills and instructions.
• Move between departments and support different areas of production as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Follow company procedures and production instructions at all times.

Production Operative

Location: Tallington
Job Type: Full-Time
Shifts: Rotating weekly - 2:00pm-10:00pm / 6:00am-2:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Tallington.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing or warehouse experience who is looking for a hands-on role within a busy production environment.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring products are manufactured, assembled and packed to the required quality, safety and production standards.

The Role

As a Production Operative, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating production equipment safely and in line with Health & Safety procedures
• Working as part of a team and independently within a busy manufacturing environment
• Ensuring products are manufactured to the required quality standards
• Carrying out general operative duties across different departments
• Completing assembly work accurately and efficiently
• Palletising large components ready for storage or dispatch
• Picking and packing small parts accurately against documented bills and instructions
• Moving between departments and supporting different areas of production as required
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following company procedures and production instructions at all times

What We’re Looking For

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Previous warehouse or production experience
• Experience working to production targets and quality standards
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow written instructions, bills and procedures
• A strong commitment to Health & Safety
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A flexible approach and willingness to support different departments
• Previous experience operating plastic forming machines would be advantageous
