Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Safely move pallets of products within the facility.
  • Perform manual handling of materials including lifting, stacking and carrying items.
  • Assemble and prepare boxes for packaging and distribution.
  • Put items into boxes according to guidelines and ensure accuracy.
  • Stack pallets and organize materials in a safe, orderly manner.
  • Conduct stock counting to maintain inventory levels.
  • Inspect products to ensure quality control standards are met.
  • Assist with general production and stockroom organization.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations.

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Production Operatives to join our team. In this role, you will play an integral part in our production and assembly processes, contributing to the delivery of high-quality products to our customers. Responsibilities

  • Safely moving pallets of products within the facility.
  • Performing manual handling of materials, including lifting, stacking, and carrying items.
  • Assembling and preparing boxes for packaging and distribution.
  • Efficiently putting items into designated boxes, following company guidelines.
  • Stacking pallets and organizing materials in a safe, orderly manner.
  • Conducting stock counting to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Inspecting products to ensure they meet quality control standards.
  • Assisting with general production and stockroom organization.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work in a physically demanding role.
  • Experience with manual handling, pallet stacking, or similar tasks (preferred but not required).
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in product handling and stock counting.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Day-to-Day

  • Begin with a team meeting to review the day’s priorities and safety guidelines.
  • Move pallets of products to designated areas, using manual handling techniques and/or equipment.
  • Assemble boxes, ensuring they are sturdy and meet packaging requirements.
  • Place items into boxes according to detailed instructions, checking for accuracy.
  • Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Organize pallets for shipment or storage in a neat, stable configuration.
  • Perform a stock count and log accurate inventory records in collaboration with the team.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace throughout your shift, including tidying up pallets, boxes, and other materials.

The shift times are 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday.

The basic pay is £12.75/h.
