Salary / Benefits: £16.19/Hr (circa £31,500)

Job Elements

1. The position is within the Logistics Group, covering Goods Inwards, Warehousing, Despatch, and Shipping.
2. Ensure an effective flow of materials from suppliers into the Manufacturing area and then to Customers.
3. Manage all material movements within the department, from raw materials to finished goods.
4. Handle all system transactions, including Customs clearance, Goods receipt, Storage, Issue to Manufacturing, receipt of finished goods, and onward shipment to Customers.
5. Maintain a safe working environment at all times.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Good basic education.
• Good working knowledge of SAP in a Logistics environment, including Kanban processes and problem-solving experience.
• Order Picker (WAVE) and Counter Balance Fork truck licenses are preferable.
• Significant experience in Warehousing within a lean manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using standard Microsoft applications.
