Job summary

Randstad Sourceright is seeking a Material Demand Planner for a 6-month rolling contract in Goole (DN14). You will manage material demand planning across fleets, components and future projects, coordinating with the Material Planning team to support accurate forecasting and inventory strategies.

The role requires strong data analysis, IBP/SIOP experience, and excellent communication with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must have strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience driving IBP / SIOP programs.
• Team player with self-motivation and business acumen.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles.
• Excellent numeracy and IT literacy; MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to communicate and present to stakeholders at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain forecasting and demand planning processes.
• Schedule materials to minimise inventory and support production.
• Coordinate with project managers and materials control teams.
• Validate delivery plans and purchase requests.
• Escalate issues with root-cause analysis involving stakeholders.
• Analyze data to develop accurate material demand forecasts.
• Support SIOP and value chain coordination across fleets.
