Job summary

Wienerberger Ltd at Sandtoft, Doncaster, is seeking a Raw Materials Controller to manage the Site Services Team, ensuring raw materials and consumables are stocked for production and COSHH duties are upheld. You will oversee stock accuracy, liaise with procurement, and drive improvements in safety, quality, cost and environmental performance.

You will carry out cycle counts, oversee SAP-based goods receipts and transfers, manage local stock, and support continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/high-volume production environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and health standards.
• Experience with stock control, counting and raw material ordering processes.
• Proficient IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to lead a team and support continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cycle counts for raw materials, consumables and consolidated stock.
• Maintain accurate stock information and documentation for reporting/audit.
• Order raw materials and consumables aligned to production schedules.
• Manage goods receipts and transfers via SAP.
• Oversee local stock holdings to support operations.
• Monitor raw material usage to improve yield and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with procurement to address supply chain issues.
• Ensure waste and packaging materials are disposed of cost-effectively.
• Support continuous improvement activities and QA cover when needed.
