Job summary

Solina in Biggleswade is seeking a Raw Materials Quality Controller to verify and control raw materials to agreed standards, review supplier documentation, and ensure audit-ready data records.

You will perform daily laboratory testing, manage LIMS data, raise non-conformances, and support quality risk assessments. The role requires GCSE level education, reliable commute, health and safety awareness, and a driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Laboratory / QA role or similar.
• Good verbal & written communication skills.
• Good level of numeracy skills.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety.

Responsibilities

• Daily testing of raw material samples using defined methodology and according to schedule.
• Ensure results are recorded accurately and deviations are escalated to SQA.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment as per schedule.
• Data entry of results onto LIMS and Lab control systems.
• Verify pass/fail status and support release or rejection decisions.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and COA records.
