Unipart Group in Coventry is seeking a proactive Material Planner to manage material flow, supplier schedules, and goods-inward processes for a high-speed electrification and injection moulding project. You will liaise with suppliers and production teams to optimise inventory and ensure uninterrupted production.

• Experience as Material Planner in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Proficient with MRP/ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
• Familiarity with managing complex component inputs and engineering change tracking.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and problem-solving mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Load customer and supplier schedules into MRP systems (IFS) and update demand forecasts to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Act as the interface for series and aftermarket requirements, expediting material deliveries and tracking changes.
• Coordinate with shop-floor leaders to track progress, resolve shortages, and prepare delivery paperwork.
• Monitor supplier/customer KPIs, analyse data, and prepare progress reports for regular reviews.
• Apply lean methodologies and SHE procedures to streamline supply chain processes.
