Job summary

Unipart Technologies Group in Coventry is seeking a Design Engineer to develop electrified assemblies and injection-moulded components for a flagship manufacturing project. You will own end-to-end design, from concept through to production readiness, in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with mechanical design, DFM principles, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, high-volume assemblies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing mechanical assemblies with electrification and injection-moulding inputs.
• Degree or HND in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Systems Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Ability to translate complex engineering challenges into production-ready designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead modelling and detail design for advanced assemblies integrating electrification systems and moulded components.
• Bridge concept design with manufacturing, delivering robust models and production-ready drawings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
