Unipart Technologies Group is seeking a proactive Material Planner in Coventry to manage material flow, supplier schedules, and goods-inward processes within a fast-paced manufacturing project. You will liaise with suppliers, customers and production teams to optimise inventory and ensure uninterrupted production.

The role focuses on loading schedules into MRP systems (IFS), coordinating with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement using lean methodologies.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as Material Planner or Inventory Controller in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (IFS advantageous).
• Strong analytical ability and proficiency with MS Excel.

Aufgaben

• Load customer and supplier schedules into MRP systems (IFS) and update demand forecasts.
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers to expedite material deliveries and track changes.
• Support production and logistics by tracking progress and resolving material shortages.
• Monitor KPIs and compile progress reports for regular performance reviews.
• Apply lean methods and SHE procedures to improve supply chain processes.
