Job summary

Randstad USA in Duncan, SC is seeking a Material Planner to coordinate and release components to meet production schedules and customer requirements. The role focuses on optimizing inventory, tracking containers, meeting packaging needs and ensuring freight efficiency.

You will develop procedures and support systems to optimize inventory, track containers, and support packaging and freight optimization in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Materials/Logistics experience.
• Knowledge of SAP, MRP and Lean Manufacturing required.
• International material planning experience preferred.

• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and integrity in accordance with department goals and objectives.
• Responsible for ensuring designated storage location using FIFO principles for all material.

Material Planner needed for a Tier 1 Automotive supplier in the Duncan SC area.
