JOB SUMMARY

To assist general Operations in the Machine Shop.

Responsible for coordinating and storing all returned tubulars in the yard.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Comply with the company’s Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Move materials by forklift and crane as necessary.
• Operate phosphate tank and bead blast unit.
• Sort materials and store in appropriate bay.
• Process goods received and submit to the office.
• Liaise with the Rental Department to clarify equipment in stock.
• Load out customer and Rental equipment.
• Ensure all stacks are in a safe condition.
• Assist the Yard Foreman in the effective management of the yard.
• Maintain general housekeeping inside and outside of the Machine Shop.
• Slot and stamp relevant identification as per work instruction.
• Post inspection, remove swarf from products and apply necessary coatings.
• Load and unload materials and tools from deliveries, ensuring relevant paperwork is checked and submitted.
• Stencil ID numbers on incoming tools for identification.
• Perform additional duties within area of competence as required.
