Senior Bird Bellows, based in Congleton, Cheshire, is seeking a reliable Material Handler to join our manufacturing team. You will manage receipt, storage and issue of raw materials, ensuring stock accuracy and safe movement within the Raw Materials Warehouse.
This role requires a full clean driving license, good communication, flexibility for overtime, and a collaborative approach to maintain production flow and compliance with safety guidelines.
Based in Congleton, Cheshire, Senior Bird Bellows was established in 1975 as a family run operation serving the petro-chemical and gas industries. Since then, we have evolved to become one of the industry leaders in the design, development and manufacture of pressure duct systems, flexible joints and insulation for highly regulated industries. We have established customers in aerospace (both civil and military), as well as in the nuclear, oil and gas, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.
The Material Handler is responsible for the receipt, storage, and issue of raw materials, as well as the general maintenance and appearance of the Raw Materials Warehouse. These duties are managed and performed as directed by the specific requirements of the Customer, within approval guidelines and procedures established by the Production Control Manager.

We are looking for a reliable and organised Material Handler to support our growing team. The successful candidate will have experience working within a manufacturing environment, practical health and safety knowledge, and experience operating material handling equipment. You will be responsible for the safe movement, storage and tracking of materials, helping to ensure production runs efficiently and effectively.
You will be a strong team player with excellent organisational and communication skills, able to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and resolve basic operational issues. A full clean driving licence is required, along with a commitment to our core values of Quality, Respect, Honesty and Working Together.
Contract Information: Monday - Friday 40hrs
