Job summary

MITER Brands is seeking a Material Handler to safely move vinyl and fiberglass lineals in a distribution center. You will load, unload, stage, and ship materials, verify orders, and maintain inventory with RF scanners and WMS.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and timely fulfillment in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Requirements include a high school diploma, warehouse experience, forklift ability or certification, and the stamina to lift up to 75 lbs.

• Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to be certified.
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver long materials (up to 50–75 lbs).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport vinyl and fiberglass lineals within the warehouse using forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders and transfer shipments accurately.
• Handle long, fragile lineals carefully to prevent damage such as bending, cracking, or surface defects.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists, orders, and inventory records.
• Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations for efficient access and inventory control.
• Bundle, wrap, label, and secure materials for shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and system updates (WMS or RF scanners).
• Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all warehouse procedures, shipping schedules, and safety guidelines.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 4:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Pay: $23.00/hr. - $26.00/hr. (depending on experience)

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of vinyl and fiberglass lineals used for window products within a distribution center environment. This role focuses strictly on warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, without involvement in manufacturing or production line activities.

Key Responsibilities
