Job summary

Allen Motor Group in Long Itchington is seeking a Master Technician to join our Prep and Recovery Centre. You will provide technical services, coach a team, maintain knowledge, uphold quality standards and ensure vehicle health checks are compliant.

The role is full-time, 45 hours per week, with a salary of £44,800 and an OTE of £59,000. Average earnings for Master Technicians last year were £59,200.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in inspection, repair and servicing motor vehicles.
• Senior/master technician level qualification or equivalent experience.
• MOT Tester qualification is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• Experience working in a franchised dealership.

Responsibilities

Allen Motor Group are currently looking to recruit a Master Technician to join our Prep and Recovery Centre in Long Itchington.

As a master technician you’ll have some key tasks and activities within your area of responsibility:

• Provide technical and diagnostic service ensuring customer satisfaction and productivity targets are met and exceeded
• Coach and monitor the technical workforce within the service department
• Maintain the highest level of technical knowledge and ensure compliance with manufacturer training
• Uphold company and manufacturer quality standards
• Ensure 100% compliance with vehicle health check processes

This position is offered on a full-time 45 hour working week paying £44,800 with and an OTE of £59,000 reporting to the Aftersales Manager. Our average Master Technician earnings were £59,200 last year!

Required Skills & Experience

• A full UK driving licence
• Experience of inspection, repair and servicing motor vehicles
• Previous senior technician or master technician level qualification or experience
• MOT Tester qualification would be very advantageous
• Fantastic verbal and written English skills
• Previous experience working in a franchised dealership
