Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 42 hours per week, including alternative Saturdays

Salary: £45,600 OTE (including £39,000 basic)

Lookers Newcastle Audi is recruiting for a Master Technician to join their workshop. You will work alongside experienced technicians, performing vehicle health checks, servicing, and repairs using the latest technology.

Reporting to Gavin Cowdery, the Aftersales Manager, you will receive ongoing support, training, and career progression opportunities, including Hybrid & Electric vehicle training to further your career.

Our technicians are crucial to delivering first-class customer service. We welcome qualified Vehicle Technicians or experienced Mechanics from dealer groups or independent garages to apply.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
• Perform vehicle servicing according to manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
• Complete additional repairs authorized by the customer
• Conduct warranty repairs following manufacturer guidelines and complete relevant documentation
• Road test vehicles to ensure faults are rectified
• Complete all paperwork to a high standard

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have workshop experience, be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn. A full UK driving license and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification are required. An MOT license is a bonus.

Experience with the brand is advantageous but not essential, as full brand accreditation training is provided.
