Master Vehicle Technician - Tyneside Audi

Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, alternating Saturdays 8:30 am to 12:30 pm as per rota.

Lookers Tyneside Audi is recruiting a Master Technician to join our workshop. You will work alongside experienced technicians, performing vehicle health checks, services, and repairs using the latest technology.

Reporting to Steven Robson, Aftersales Manager, you will receive ongoing support, tools, and training to excel, including opportunities for career progression and specialized Hybrid & Electric training to advance your skills.

Our technicians are vital to delivering first-class customer service. We welcome qualified Vehicle Technicians or experienced Mechanics from dealer groups or independent garages to apply.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle health checks with advanced technology
• Perform vehicle services following manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
• Complete additional repairs with customer authorization
• Conduct warranty repairs as per manufacturer guidelines and ensure proper documentation
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs
• Maintain high standards in all paperwork

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have workshop experience, be self-motivated, ambitious, eager to learn, and committed to high standards. A full UK driving license and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are required. An MOT license is a plus.

Previous experience with the brand is advantageous but not essential, as full brand accreditation training will be provided.
