Job summary

HSB Technical Ltd advertises a Master (CTV) position for a 4 weeks on/4 weeks off rotation across UK offshore ports. The Master will command the vessel, transport crews and equipment, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold MCA Master 200GT with STCW, ENG1, GMDSS, and DP knowledge. The role offers a competitive salary and career progression in offshore wind operations.

Qualifications

• Holder of UK MCA Master 200GT certificate or higher.
• Experience as Master on CTVs or similar vessels.
• Valid STCW certification and ENG1 medical.
• GMDSS GOC and full safety credentials.
• Desirable: Master 500GT CoC or higher and DP awareness.

Responsibilities

• Command and operate the vessel safely and efficiently.
• Transport technicians and equipment to offshore wind farms.
• Lead and mentor onboard crew; ensure compliance with COLREGS and SMS.
• Oversee maintenance, safety briefings and voyage documentation.
