NHS Scotland’s Scottish Ambulance Service is recruiting a Master Craftsperson (Vehicle Technician) based in Motherwell at the Fleet Workshop. The role is 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with weekend on-call on a rota and possible shifts at other workshops.
A day shift 08:00–16:00 with overtime on offer. You will join a skilled team reporting to the Workshop Chargehand, with specialist training provided to service a wide range of emergency vehicles and equipment.

You will be one of a highly skilled and dedicated team reporting to the Workshop Chargehand. The successful candidate may be required to work from other Scottish Ambulance Service Workshops, on occasions. This is a dayshift position from 08:00 until 16:00 Mon – Fri. Weekend on call on a rota.
This is a full-time position working 36 hours Monday to Friday. You will also be required to be undertake occasional overtime and public holiday working. Motherwell Workshop has weekend On-call on a rota; all paid at the appropriate enhanced rate. If you are asked to work at another workshop it may a different shift pattern.

If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", your appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
