Job summary

J.P. Morgan in London seeks an Associate for Markets Treasury to help manage and optimize financial resources across the Markets business. You will partner with trading desks and stakeholders to drive results, ensuring efficient use of balance sheet, capital, liquidity, and leverage.

You will develop your expertise, build relationships, and contribute to data and analytics initiatives while delivering impactful solutions for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• Several years of Treasury/financial resource management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Basel III RWA, GSIB, liquidity and leverage concepts.
• Familiarity with financing, cash and derivative products.
• Experience with large data sets and pattern analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Tableau, AWS, Databricks or AI tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to interact with senior stakeholders.
• Organized self-starter capable of learning quickly under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on financial resource topics.
• Build and maintain relationships with trading desks to understand needs and drivers.
• Partner with trading desks to optimize resource usage.
• Analyze trading desk profitability using key metrics.
• Assess regulatory change impacts and support advocacy.
• Understand competitive landscape across the EMEA region and resource constraints.
• Provide treasury guidance on infrastructure, collateral, and liquidity.
• Collaborate with Treasury Data & Analytics, technology, and quant teams.
• Develop tools and analytics to support business objectives.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
