A leading global bank in Belfast is seeking a Data Governance professional. This role involves managing Data Quality incidents and engaging with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in Data Governance or Management and be proficient in project management. The Markets Data Steward is responsible for the coordination and execution of activities relating to Data Concerns Remediation Management (DCRM) program throughout Markets. Requires understanding of Markets Products, Finance and Risk Functions and how they contribute to the objectives of the overall business. Incident ticket management within markets liaising across various functions to progress and remediate data quality issues through engagement with technology, operations and business partners.
Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. May occasionally assume informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization.
