Job summary

Zachary Daniels Recruitment is partnering with a consumer products business to recruit a Marketplace Key Account Manager. The role focuses on owning key marketplace accounts, driving sales performance, profitability and growth across platforms.

You will combine account management, ecommerce trading and data analysis to deliver commercial outcomes and enhance marketplace performance. Hybrid working and a competitive benefits package are on offer.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Marketplace, Ecommerce, Digital Trading or Key Account Management within retail or consumer products.
• Experience working with online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Wayfair, B&Q Marketplace or similar platforms.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse sales performance, pricing, margins and marketplace trends.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow key marketplace accounts, driving revenue, profitability and commercial performance across multiple online platforms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace partners, acting as the key point of contact and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Take ownership of sales performance, budgets and commercial targets, ensuring marketplace accounts deliver against agreed objectives.
• Develop and execute promotional calendars, trading campaigns and seasonal activity to maximise sales opportunities.
• Work closely with merchandising, ecommerce and product teams to optimise pricing, product ranges, availability and promotional performance.
• Monitor competitor activity, marketplace trends and customer behaviour to identify commercial opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Analyse marketplace performance and trading data, translating insights into actionable recommendations that drive revenue and profitability.
• Monitor account health, marketplace standards and operational performance to ensure a consistently strong customer experience.
• Identify and support the development of new marketplace partnerships, platforms and growth opportunities.
• Develop clear reporting, KPIs and performance updates, providing valuable commercial insight to the Head of Marketplace and wider leadership team.
• Support marketplace improvement projects, helping to streamline processes and improve overall trading efficiency.
