Experience:
- Proven ability to set, track, and adjust strategies based on ROI
- Numbered ROI results that you can point to as you have delivered specific marketing results - ideally for accountants and/or bookkeepers, and at least for small business owners
- Business ownership experience yourself (so you know how to empathise and relate to our clients)

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Direct marketing strategy for all clients you are responsible for
- Lead Foundational strategy sessions from start to finish
- Hold sales calls and meetings as needed
- Review the client experience dashboard regularly and ensure all clients are receiving the services they want and need
- Create (and collaborate with the team on) marketing campaigns including detailed planner for individual clients - strategy documents, briefs, client plans, and reporting
- Track and interpret marketing data to report on campaign performance and ROI; share insights and strategic recommendations with clients.
- Adapting strategies over time (ie if a campaign underperforms, responsible for iterating or course-correcting the plan)
- Actively checking execution (copy, design, delivery). Review content, design, web, and other creative work before it goes to the client
- Maintain regular communication with assigned clients through meetings, check-ins, and reporting to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Provide strategic support for outsourced/partnered suppliers to ensure the work delivered fits the client strategy & needs and delivers a result
- Educate and inspire the rest of the team on how marketing and business strategy affects every part of the marketing we do
- Work independently as well as cooperatively with the remainder of the team and outsourcers to meet deadlines and stay within budget on simultaneous projects. Continuously review the efficiency and profitability of these systems, and provide data as required
- Proactively examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that improve our marketing strategy, as well as the client experience. Research, test and implement new processes where relevant.
- Full ownership of the client relationship

- Coach other strategists, lead coaching sessions for clients, lead retrospectives, and provide feedback on other team members' strategy work
