Job description

Be part of a community working together to make science better. A society publisher with the perfect blend of not-for-profit purpose and commercial perspective. Here, we help each other be the best we can be: a team big enough to impact and small enough to care.

At IOP Publishing, we're passionate about advancing research and scientific knowledge to benefit society. We're looking for a Marketing Operations Executive to join our growing Marketing Operations team on a 12 month fixed term contract, and play a key role in enabling impactful, data-driven marketing campaigns across our global audiences.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an interest in marketing technology, customer data and campaign delivery who enjoys combining technical skills with collaboration and problem-solving.

Working closely with colleagues across the marketing function, you'll help build, deploy and track campaigns that engage our customers and improve marketing performance.

  • Supporting the implementation and ongoing use of our Customer Data Platform (CDP)
  • Providing guidance and support to colleagues on marketing technology best practices
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and customer engagement
  • Helping maintain user guides, documentation and internal best practice resources.
