Job summary

The Scotsman Group is seeking a Marketing Manager for the Hotel & Accommodation division, based in Glasgow with regular travel to Edinburgh and occasional north travel. You will support the Head Of Communications across campaigns for 12 sites and 7 brands, spanning Hotels, Services Apartments and Student Accommodation.

You will plan, implement and report on all marketing activities, collaborating with the marketing and revenue teams to drive brand awareness, loyalty and direct bookings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent.
• 2+ years of marketing or project management experience in hotels or hospitality.
• Ability to produce copy for digital and physical spaces, on-brand and high quality.
• Strong understanding of the accommodation market, local Edinburgh insight advantageous.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.
• IT literate including email management, scheduling and filing.
• Eloquent, enthusiastic and keen to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and rollout campaign and comms strategy to boost direct bookings and market share.
• Support M&E side of hotel businesses with targeted marketing plans for weddings and corporate business.
• Create digital copy and content for mailers, social, websites and blogs with strong storytelling.
• Collaborate with the digital team to optimise website content and conversion, and ROI across paid ads.
• Secure media coverage and manage influencer and press content with the Group Marketing Manager.
