Job Description:

Title: Marketing Manager

Location: London (On Site)

The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Global Brand Marketing Manager, Director of Marketing, and the General Manager to plan and maintain the brand identity through strategic planning and activation. Responsibilities include executing marketing activities to support Shanghai Me London, creating content briefs, proposing marketing and social media calendars, supporting event execution, overseeing digital campaigns, liaising with brand and operation teams, developing brand collaterals, managing social media and external agencies, and reporting on performance. The role requires organization, flexibility, creativity, and a strong understanding of the F&B and hospitality industry, especially within London.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating content briefs for marketing activations
  • Developing and proposing marketing and social media calendars with a localized approach
  • Supporting restaurant activations and events, overseeing them as professional projects
  • Assisting with private dining events, ensuring seamless communication and support
  • Managing digital campaigns to increase awareness and build brand loyalty
  • Collaborating with brand and operation teams to meet business needs
  • Developing brand collaterals and maintaining consistent tone of voice across platforms
  • Responding to guest messages across platforms
  • Managing external agencies (Graphic Design, PR, Digital Marketing)
  • Maintaining records of challenges and achievements through monthly reports
  • Ensuring brand standards are met and coordinating photoshoots and videoshoots
  • Preparing monthly reports including social media, PR, and digital marketing metrics

Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years experience in Brand/Marketing, preferably within F&B
  • Proficiency in the local language
  • Hospitality/F&B background with understanding of the London F&B scene
  • Culturally current and socially aware, especially in dining trends
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • Experience working with operations teams (FOH and BOH)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, organization, and creativity
  • Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail
  • Experience in content creation, digital marketing, events, budgeting, and agency management
  • Educational background in marketing preferred
  • Excellent social media skills and proficiency in MS Office, Mailchimp, Canva
