Job description

Job Title: Marketing Manager

We are seeking an experienced, ambitious, and creative Marketing Manager to join our team in Worthing, West Sussex.

You will work closely with the Sales Manager and CEO to develop a marketing plan that drives awareness, engagement, conversion, and retention. Collaborating with colleagues within the Sales team, as well as our partners and external agencies, you will execute multi-channel marketing activities. You will play a central role in developing our B2B marketing function.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement a marketing strategy to promote SolarWinds products and related professional services.
  2. Plan, execute, and report on lead generation campaigns.
  3. Align marketing activities with sales objectives to support growth.
  4. Manage marketing events such as trade shows, webinars, and networking events.
  5. Coordinate email marketing (via marketing automation platforms) and paid campaigns on social media and syndication channels.
  6. Create marketing content in various formats including web, video, and print.
  7. Manage the company website (WordPress), including maintenance, content updates, and SEO optimization.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and partners.
  9. Report on campaign performance and ROI.
  10. Manage marketing budgets and spend, including MDF.
  11. Collaborate on new service launches with internal teams.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a high-performing B2B marketing environment, preferably in enterprise software.
  • Proven success in managing marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Understanding of MarTech tools and how to leverage them for B2B marketing.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Pardot, Act-On, or Creatio.
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress, HTML, and CSS.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and independently managing projects.
  • Excellent communication, creativity, and organizational skills.
  • A strong interest in software is desirable.
  • Skills in copywriting, Google Analytics (GA4), and paid advertising on platforms like Google AdWords, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Experience with social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Video editing skills.
Compensation and Benefits:

Basic salary ranging from £37,000 to £45,000 depending on experience, plus bonuses.
