DIMENSIONS OF ROLE
Normal working hours will be 09.00 to 17.00, Monday to Friday (inclusive), including one hour unpaid lunch on each day worked, making a total of 35 working hours per week.
KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE
- Lead the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns that drive commercial revenue, brand engagement and audience growth across Lord's and MCC products.
- Own key campaign workstreams across ticketing, hospitality, events, digital membership (Inside Lord's, and retail, ensuring best in class marketing execution.
- Act as a senior marketing voice within the team, helping shape strategy, inspire creativity, drive innovation and ensure commercial effectiveness.
KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Plan and deliver marketing campaigns that align with MCC marketing strategy, focusing on major matchdays, premium seating, and supporting the club commercial initiatives.
- Lead multichannel campaign execution across CRM, paid media, content, website, and social, ensuring messaging is consistent, measurable and insight driven.
- Manage campaign performance, reporting regularly on results and making clear recommendations to optimise impact.
- Develop effective CRM plans to grow MCC marketable database, using segmentation, automation and personalisation to maximise engagement.
- Act as the marketing lead for MCC audience growth project, coordinating cross functional efforts to define audience segments, improve acquisition channels, and enhance engagement across matchdays, content, retail and digital platforms.
- Work with content and digital team to deliver joined up messaging and standout creative across every touchpoint, digital, print, in ground, and video.
- Collaborate cross functionally with teams including Commercial, Ticketing, Digital, Retail, Communications, and Cricket to align campaign messaging and goals.
- Oversee agency relationships, especially paid media, creative and digital, to ensure efficient delivery of campaigns on time and on budget.
- Champion the MCC and Lord's brand, ensuring that everything delivered reflects our values and standards, while pushing forward creative ambition.
- Support brand and campaign delivery for TeamCo, the new Lord's based Hundred franchise, working across creative, content, and digital outputs to build audience, drive ticket sales, and establish a distinct team identity.
- Own Inside Lord's marketing strategy, working closely with internal stakeholders and agencies to grow subscribers and drive deeper engagement with digital members.
- Mentor and support junior team members, helping to build capability, confidence and consistency across the team.
VARIATIONS OF JOB RELATING TO MAJOR MATCHES
- Attendance at all major match days, including weekends, as required.
- Any other duties, whether in the Department or elsewhere around the Ground, as required.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant marketing and/or CRM experience (either in house or agency).
- Be a strategic marketer with an in depth knowledge and understanding of our customers and the diverse Lord's offering, to be able to effectively market our products and services.
- Ability to analyse data and use insight to effectively support the implementation of a variety of campaign activities.
- Strong copywriting skills and literacy levels in order to successfully curate compelling CRM campaigns.
- Well organised, able to juggle and prioritise multiple projects strong time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive self starter with a can do attitude.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- A passion to drive the MCC and Lord's brands forward.
- Have an interest and level of understanding of cricket.
