Job summary

Checkmate Fire Solutions Ltd. is seeking an Events Coordinator to join our Marketing Communications team in Elland.

You will support planning and delivery of our external and internal events programme, from industry conferences and trade shows to webinars and internal engagement activities. Working closely with the Head of Marketing and other departments, you will coordinate event logistics, liaise with organisers and suppliers, support promotional campaigns and help bring event content to life

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing, administration or events is desirable.
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality events and experiences.
• Strong attention to detail and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Customer-focused with a professional and approachable manner.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, Teams/Zoom, CRM or event registration platforms is a plus.
• A valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating events, trade shows, webinars and client activities from planning through to follow-up.
• Managing event timelines, logistics, suppliers, attendee communications and materials.
• Supporting impactful pre- and post-event marketing campaigns.
• Helping capture and share event content, success stories and social media activity.
• Supporting internal communications, employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
• Tracking attendance, leads, and event performance to demonstrate impact.
