Humankind Global Recruitment in Manchester is seeking a Marketing Engagement Analyst to join a growing BI function. You’ll work hands-on with data to understand customer behaviour, marketing performance and engagement, building dashboards that convert data into business insight.
You’ll apply SQL to extract and analyse data, investigate performance trends and present practical recommendations to stakeholders. This hybrid role develops your analytics across marketing insights.
Manchester / Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office
We’re looking for a Marketing Engagement Analyst to join a growing Business Intelligence function, using data to understand customer behaviour, marketing performance and what’s driving engagement.
This is a hands‑on analytics role covering the full analytics lifecycle – from extracting and working with data, through to building reports and delivering deeper analysis that helps the business understand not just what is happening, but why.
You don’t need to tick every technical box. We’re looking for someone with a strong analytical mindset who is comfortable working with SQL and wants to continue developing across BI, marketing analytics and more advanced analytical techniques.
You’ll have previous experience in a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Marketing Analyst, Customer Analyst, Insight Analyst or similar analytical role.
The main technical requirement is being comfortable building and interpreting SQL queries. You should be confident working with data independently and be able to investigate a business question from the initial data extraction through to presenting your conclusions.
Experience with a visualisation tool such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker would be useful, but we’re not looking for someone who ticks every possible box.
Experience with Python or R, ETL, machine learning, statistical analysis, CRM/customer data or marketing analytics would all be beneficial, but none are essential.
More importantly, you'll be curious about the story behind the data, comfortable asking "why?", and able to turn your analysis into practical recommendations that stakeholders can actually use.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands‑on with data and wants to develop across the full analytics lifecycle, while gaining further exposure to marketing, customer insight and advanced analytics.
