Jagex, the RuneScape creator, is seeking a Marketing Director to lead the game’s marketing strategy and growth. You will own the marketing plan, budget, and multi-channel campaigns, while leading an embedded marketing team and coordinating with central marketing functions to drive subscriber growth and revenue.

You will sit on the game leadership team, aligning marketing activity with the game’s goals, and ensuring impactful campaigns across content launches and live events.

Qualifications

• Significant marketing leadership experience in games or subscription/live-service entertainment.
• Track record of growing subscriber or user base through acquisition and re-engagement marketing with measurable results.
• Experience owning and allocating a marketing budget at scale with demonstrated ROI.

Responsabilités

• Own and deliver the marketing strategy for RuneScape, with accountability for player acquisition, re-engagement and membership inflow.
• Lead the game leadership team and shape goals aligned to the company-wide marketing strategy.
• Own the game's marketing budget and allocate spend against priorities, evaluating ROI with defined metrics.
• Plan and direct marketing campaigns across the game calendar, including launches and always-on activity.
• Line manage Product Marketing Managers and Social Media Managers, setting objectives and developing their skills.
• Collaborate with central marketing functions to ensure activity aligns with strategy.
• Translate commercial goals into marketing plans with defined objectives, budgets and success measures.
• Monitor and report marketing performance to senior leadership on membership, DAU, and revenue.
