Job summary

HSL Chairs in Yorkshire is seeking a Marketing Director to join the Board and shape the next chapter of the business. You’ll lead a 10+ marketing team, own multi-million-pound budgets and influence the commercial strategy across brand, digital, ecommerce and the retail estate.

You’ll unite customer insight with performance marketing, CRM and omnichannel campaigns, reporting to the CEO and working closely with fellow Directors to drive growth and profitability.

Now, with 50+ showrooms across the UK, a growing ecommerce business and ambitious plans for the future, HSL is looking for an exceptional Marketing Director to join its Board of Directors and help shape the next chapter of the business.

This is a significant leadership opportunity.

• Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll lead a marketing team of 10+, take ownership of multi-million-pound marketing budgets and influence the commercial strategy across brand, digital, ecommerce and the physical retail estate.
• We’re looking for a Marketing Director who understands that great marketing isn’t just about creating a brilliant brand, it’s about driving customers, conversion and profitable growth.
• You’ll bring together customer insight, brand, performance marketing, CRM, ecommerce and retail marketing to create one connected customer journey, working closely with the CEO and fellow Board Directors across Sales, Product and Finance.
• We’d particularly love to hear from senior marketing leaders who have operated within retail, consumer or omnichannel businesses, combining strong brand instincts with real commercial and analytical rigour.
