Job summary

VWFS is seeking an undergraduate to join its Marketing team as a Marketing Communications Undergraduate in Milton Keynes. The placement is 12-13 months with hybrid work, typically three days in the office, starting around June/July.

You will review financial promotions, support campaign launches and help develop brand communications to ensure clarity and regulatory compliance. You must be studying an undergraduate degree with a placement year; master’s students are not eligible.

Qualifications

• Currently studying an undergraduate degree that requires a placement year; marketing, legal, compliance or business-related subjects would be helpful.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to review complex information accurately.
• Strong literacy and communication skills, with confidence giving constructive feedback.
• Customer-orientated approach and interest in good customer outcomes.
• Creative approach to problem solving and ability to work under pressure within SLAs.
• Able to build relationships and collaborate with internal teams and agency partners.
• Interest in marketing communications, financial promotions or regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the review and approval of FCA financial promotions across digital, print, TV, radio and point of sale channels.
• Manage and monitor workflows, assigning inbound jobs and enquiries to relevant teams.
• Provide helpful and timely feedback to Marketing Managers and agency colleagues.
• Support the creation of promotional terms and conditions and check regulatory information for campaign launches.
• Help create guidance and training materials for brand marketing teams and agencies.
• Assess competitor financial promotions and support improvements to customer communications.
• Support Rent-a-Car marketing activity, including social calendar and community management.
