Job summary

Waythrough, Bradford-based, seeks a Marketing and Communications Officer to promote drug and alcohol support services and voices of lived experience. Managed remotely by the communications team, the role is supervised locally in Bradford/Keighley with some home working.

You will craft stories, design leaflets, engage with councils, attend events, and build partnerships. Requires copywriting, MS Office, attention to detail, and a communications qualification (NVQ4) or equivalent experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, coupled with exceptional copywriting and creative writing skills.
  • Strong administrative prowess with attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Ability to bring ideas to life through engaging written and visual presentations.
  • A team player who can build connections with internal and external staff and partners.
  • Hands-on comms experience or a qualification in Media/Communications (NVQ level 4).

Responsibilities

Location: New Vision Bradford - Pelican House

Working Hours: 37 Hours, 4 days in office, 1 day working from home. (Day is flexible)

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £29,880.00- £38,180.00

This role is managed remotely by the communications team but is supervised locally by a senior member of the operational team.
