Marketing Communications Manager (mainly B2B) - South Oxfordshire

We're looking for a self starter with bags of initiative.

A Marketing Exec (or Manager) with 2-5 years' experience who enjoys working on everything from websites, to events, to social media and sponsorship.

Who are the business?

This is a the opportunity to join an entrepreneurial, well run group of businesses.

Based in the head office, just outside Oxford, as the Marcomms Manager, you will be given free reign to look after four separate brands, each with different priorities.

The companies within the group are connected, but operate independently within the following sectors:

  • Construction & Civil Engineering
  • Machine Rental and Events
  • Property Management
  • Marine & waterways

You are going to make a massive impact in an already successful group of businesses.

You will report directly to the CEO, setting the marketing strategy and then implementing it in whatever way you see fit. You will be trusted to use whichever suppliers and external agencies you need to ensure the success of the various brands, all of which have different priorities that are ever changing.

No day will ever be the same, you can expect to be handling:

  • Website updates (including some design & occasional revamps)
  • Create and schedule social media content across relevant platforms
  • Manage external agencies (SEO) where needed
  • Organise participation in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
  • Coordinate sponsorships, partnerships, and community initiatives.
  • Branding, case studies and brochures
  • Design and sourcing of promotional products and signage
  • Support tendering with bid documents, presentations, and marketing collateral
