Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
The Green Recruitment Company is expanding its group marketing function with a lead-level Campaigns & Marketing role. You’ll turn strategy into practical campaigns across priority sectors and geographies, collaborating with consultants and sales leaders to create measurable opportunities.
You will own integrated campaigns, ABM programs, events and marketing tech workflows, including CRM, landing pages and lead routing in Loxo. Hybrid working and a clear progression path are provided.
The Green Recruitment Company is the premium provider of global recruitment solutions to the green energy and technology sector. Founded in 2010, we work across the energy transition with operations in London, Düsseldorf, Beijing, Orlando, New York, Cape Town, Singapore, Sydney and Amsterdam — with our head office in London supporting every region.
We're building out the group marketing function, and this is the role that turns strategy into activity in the market. You'll also support our sister brands: Green Executives, our executive search business, and Green Collar Jobs, our job board.
This is a hands‑on, commercially minded campaigns role reporting directly to the Group Chief Marketing Officer.
You'll own campaign execution across the group: integrated campaigns for priority sectors and geographies, account‑based marketing for strategic clients, conference and event marketing, CRM and automation workflows, lead routing, and selective paid media where there's a genuine business case for it.
Deliberately, this is not a paid‑media role with campaigns attached. Paid is one tool in the mix. What matters is building campaigns around defined audiences and commercial objectives, and being able to show what came out the other end.
Translating commercial priorities into campaign plans — audience, channels, actions, budget, measures of success — and delivering them end to end
Running structured pre‑event, live‑event and post‑event marketing around our priority conferences, so events produce meetings and opportunities rather than just attendance
Building account‑based and outbound programmes for named target accounts, working shoulder to shoulder with consultants and sales leaders
Owning the marketing tech workflows — audiences, nurture sequences, landing pages, lead capture, routing and follow‑up in Loxo and connected platforms
Triaging marketing‑generated client enquiries quickly and ensuring source, campaign and follow‑up data is captured properly
Managing selective PPC and paid social against defined audiences, budgets and outcomes — and recommending when to stop
Supporting new‑market, new‑team and new‑service launches with practical activation plans and repeatable playbooks
Reporting on what worked, what didn't, and what should change next time
You'll work closely with our Marketing & Content Manager, who owns brand, content and creative — you'll brief and coordinate rather than duplicate.
Integrated campaign experience in B2B, professional services or recruitment — across several channels, not one specialism
Practical, hands‑on experience of email marketing, CRM, segmentation, automation, landing pages and events
Working knowledge of PPC and paid social, with the judgement to use it selectively and assess return
Strong organisation and project management — multiple stakeholders, deadlines and dependencies at once
Confidence working with sales teams and senior stakeholders, including challenging a vague brief constructively
Analytical instincts, and a healthy scepticism of vanity metrics
Sound understanding of consent, suppression and responsible campaign practice
A test‑and‑learn mindset and genuine interest in marketing technology, automation and AI‑enabled ways of working
Preferred: experience marketing within the recruitment sector.
Useful: a second language. We operate across nine countries and it opens doors in our DACH, Benelux and APAC markets.
£38,000–£45,000 base salary
15% annual bonus — 10% core (split 50:50 between personal objectives and company performance) plus up to 5% stretch if we exceed 115% of budgeted EBITDA
Lead origination bonus on opportunities you originate that the sales team converts
Hybrid working
Private healthcare (following successful probation)
25 days annual leave, inclusive of our Christmas shutdown
Full support towards Chartered Marketer status through the CIM, or other relevant professional development
This is a lead‑level role with a defined progression path to Campaigns & Marketing Operations Manager as the function grows, and onward routes into Head of Campaigns & Growth, Head of Marketing Operations or broader group marketing leadership.
If you want ownership of a campaigns function rather than a slice of one — and you want your work measured in client conversations, opportunities and revenue — we'd like to hear from you.
