Green Recruitment Company seeks a Campaigns & Marketing Operations Lead in London to own integrated marketing campaigns, events and ABM initiatives. You will work with global sales teams to drive commercial conversations and repeatable marketing activity that fuels growth.
You will design CRM-driven campaigns, nurture programs and attribution-focused workflows, partnering with leadership to optimize outcomes and scale across markets.
Location: London
Salary: £36,000–£42,000 per annum
Bonus: Up to 15% annual bonus, plus lead origination incentive
Company: Green Group / The Green Recruitment Company
The Green Recruitment Company is a global specialist recruitment business focused on the renewable energy, energy transition and green technology markets.
Founded in 2010, we now operate internationally across Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific and Africa, supporting some of the world's leading organisations across renewable energy and the wider green economy.
Our wider group also includes Green Executives, our executive search business, and other specialist brands and services.
We are continuing to evolve our marketing function and are now looking for a Campaigns & Marketing Operations Lead to join our London team.
This is a newly shaped role sitting at the intersection of marketing campaigns, events, business development, CRM, automation and go-to-market execution.
We are not looking for someone to simply manage a PPC account or generate more website traffic.
We want someone who can take a commercial priority — a new market, target client group, conference, service line or strategic account — and turn it into a structured, measurable marketing campaign.
You will work closely with our Group Chief Marketing Officer, Brand & Content Manager and global sales teams to help us reach the right clients, create more meaningful commercial conversations and build repeatable marketing activity that supports business growth.
This is a hands-on Lead-level role, offering genuine ownership alongside a clear future progression route into a Campaigns & Marketing Operations Manager position.
You will plan and deliver campaigns across priority sectors, markets, services and client groups.
This could include:
Account-based marketing campaigns.
Targeted email and outbound programmes.
Market-entry and new-service campaigns.
Client nurture journeys.
Landing pages and campaign journeys.
Consultant-led business development activation.
Retargeting and selective paid media.
Campaign testing, optimisation and reporting.
The focus will always be on commercial relevance and measurable outcomes, rather than activity for activity's sake.
We attend and participate in major conferences around the world, and you will help us get much more from them.
You will own the marketing workflow around priority events, including:
Pre-event target account campaigns.
Client meeting outreach.
Event landing pages and communications.
Consultant activation.
Lead capture.
Post-event follow-up.
Tracking opportunities and commercial outcomes.
You will also support webinars, roundtables, client briefings and other hosted events.
You will work closely with our consultants and leadership teams to build campaigns around defined target clients and strategic accounts.
Rather than broad-volume marketing, we want to become increasingly sophisticated in how we use:
Target account data.
Market intelligence.
Salary surveys.
Case studies.
Client insight.
Email campaigns.
CRM workflows.
Thought leadership.
…to create relevant reasons for clients to engage with us.
You will help connect our marketing activity more effectively with our CRM and wider technology stack.
Responsibilities will include:
Building campaign audiences and segments.
Creating nurture and follow-up workflows.
Improving campaign automation.
Connecting campaign activity with consultant follow-up.
Improving lead source and attribution data.
Developing repeatable campaign processes.
Identifying activities that can be automated or simplified.
You don't need to be a developer, but you should enjoy understanding how marketing technology can make campaigns better and more scalable.
A major part of the role will be helping us understand what marketing is actually generating.
You will help:
Identify genuine client opportunities from marketing activity.
Route enquiries to the right consultants quickly.
Improve campaign and lead tracking.
Understand which channels and activities are creating commercial value.
Build clearer reporting around meetings, terms, jobs, proposals and revenue opportunities.
PPC and paid social still have a place in our marketing mix — but they are tools, not the purpose of this role.
You may run targeted LinkedIn, Google, retargeting or other paid campaigns where there is a clear audience and commercial objective.
Equally, we want someone confident enough to recommend stopping or changing activity where the return isn't there.
You will probably be a commercially minded B2B marketer who enjoys both thinking and doing.
You should be comfortable managing several moving parts and working closely with sales teams rather than operating within a marketing silo.
We are particularly interested in people with experience across areas such as:
B2B campaign marketing.
Email marketing.
CRM and marketing automation.
Events and conferences.
Account-based marketing.
Lead generation.
Landing pages and conversion journeys.
Paid digital marketing.
Campaign analytics and reporting.
Sales and marketing alignment.
Experience within recruitment, professional services or another commercially driven B2B environment would be useful, but it is not essential.
More important is your ability to understand a commercial objective and work out how marketing can help achieve it.
Commercially curious.
Highly organised.
Comfortable working independently.
Confident dealing with salespeople and senior stakeholders.
Interested in marketing technology and automation.
Data-aware without becoming obsessed with vanity metrics.
Comfortable experimenting and learning from results.
Happy being hands-on.
Prepared to challenge activity that doesn't have a clear purpose.
Interested in developing into a broader marketing leadership role.
£36,000–£42,000 base salary, depending on experience.
Up to 15% annual bonus.
Additional incentive for qualifying marketing-originated opportunities that generate placements.
Professional development support, including Chartered Institute of Marketing membership where appropriate.
Exposure to an international business operating across some of the fastest-growing areas of the global energy transition.
The opportunity to work across multiple markets, brands and marketing disciplines.
A clear progression pathway toward Campaigns & Marketing Operations Manager as the role and function develop.
This isn't a traditional digital marketing vacancy.
You won't be judged simply on impressions, clicks or traffic.
We want to understand whether our marketing is helping us:
Reach the right companies.
Engage the right decision-makers.
Enter new markets.
Strengthen strategic accounts.
Generate client conversations.
Create opportunities for our recruitment teams.
If you enjoy connecting marketing activity with real commercial outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.
