Job summary

South West Water is seeking a Marketing Automation Lead to own and optimise Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaigns, deliver personalised customer journeys, and develop HTML email content. You will work with Digital and business stakeholders to drive digital adoption and measure outcomes using analytics tools.

The role requires strong HTML email development, extensive SFMC experience, and a track record of end-to-end campaigns.

Qualifications

• Highly experienced in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, especially email automation.
• Proven track record of delivering end-to-end email campaigns and customer journeys.
• Strong HTML email development skills.
• Experience using analytics and reporting tools to measure and improve campaign performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, CMS platforms (Optimizely) and SQL is advantageous.
• Salesforce Trailhead certification/experience desirable.
• Degree educated or equivalent relevant experience.
• Manager-level capability with at least 5 years' relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of marketing automation campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Design and build personalised, triggered customer journeys and communications.
• Develop and maintain HTML email content and templates.
• Analyse campaign performance and identify opportunities for continuous optimisation.
• Partner with Digital and wider business stakeholders to deliver customer-focused communications.
• Support audience segmentation, testing and conversion rate optimisation activity.
• Drive digital adoption, including MyAccount and eBilling growth.
• Deliver accurate reporting through tools including Power BI and Looker Studio.
