Job description

We are working with an international professional services firm to recruit a Marketing Assistant on a 6 month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their marketing career to gain hands-on experience across digital communications, content management and campaign delivery, supporting a busy Communications team. Previous marketing experience isn't essential, but a genuine interest in digital marketing and a proactive, organised approach are key.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Upload, format and publish articles, news and other content across digital channels
• Update website content and maintain online information using content management systems
• Support the publication process, coordinating content, images, approvals and schedules
• Maintain content calendars, campaign trackers and publication schedules
• Draft and schedule approved social media content
• Assist with the creation of marketing collateral and communications materials
• Coordinate content translations and updates across multiple languages
• Proofread and quality-check digital and printed materials to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Maintain marketing assets, including biographies, photography, logos and imagery
• Collate website, campaign and social media data to support reporting
• Liaise with external suppliers and provide general administrative support to the Communications team

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• An interest in developing a career in marketing, communications or digital content
• Previous marketing or communications experience is not essential
• Experience updating websites, managing social media or using content management systems would be advantageous
• A marketing, communications or business-related qualification would be beneficial
• Experience using platforms such as Umbraco would be an advantage
