Job summary

21° is seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our marketing team, supporting digital and offline campaigns to raise awareness of our renewables products and services.

This is a great early career opportunity offering hands-on experience across a diverse mix of channels, events, and exhibits.

You will collaborate with local branches, create content for email and social platforms, and help deliver engaging campaigns that drive local growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing, communications, or administrative roles.
• Strong written communication with attention to detail.

• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Mailchimp/HubSpot experience is a plus.

The Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised Marketing Assistant to join our marketing team. You'll play a key role in supporting our marketing activity across digital and offline channels, helping to raise awareness of our products and services through both local and national campaigns.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who wants hands-on experience across a genuinely varied mix of channels and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the creation and scheduling of email marketing campaigns, including copywriting, list segmentation, and performance tracking
• Assist with day-to-day management of social media accounts — content creation, scheduling, community engagement, and reporting
• Help plan and coordinate local events and exhibitions, including logistics, stand setup, and promotional materials
• Support the design and production of printed marketing materials (leaflets, brochures, banners, signage) working alongside designers or external print suppliers
• Assist with maintaining brand consistency across all local marketing activity
• Help track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and activities
• Liaise with local branch teams to understand marketing needs and support their goals

About You

• Some experience in a marketing, communications, or administrative role (internships and placements welcome)
• Strong written communication skills with good attention to detail
• Familiarity and passion for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and basic content scheduling tools
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp/ Hubspot) or design tools is a plus
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Full UK driving licence (may be required for occasional travel to events/branches)
• A genuine interest in renewable energy and sustainability is a bonus
