Job summary

Confidential in St Ives is seeking a Marketing Assistant for a full-time permanent role, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. You will write and edit blogs, raise brand awareness, update the website, and manage social media.

You will use Mailchimp and Canva, analyse campaigns, compile reports, keep databases up to date, and assist with trade shows and events. Salary is £28,000–£32,000 depending on experience, with 31 days leave, pension after probation, on-site parking, a birthday day off, and

Job description

Our superb brand new client based in St. Ives, has experienced positive growth over the last 5 years and will be bringing the marketing function in-house for the very first time.

They are seeking an experienced Marketing Assistant to join them on a full-time permanent basis working Monday to Friday 9.00am 5.00pm.

As Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for writing and editing blog posts, raising brand awareness, updating the company website, creating and scheduling social media posts, dealing with customer engagement, monitor competitor activity and analysis, creating and executing email marketing campaigns and reviewing campaign analytics, compile basic performance reports, update marketing databases, assist with trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events.

To be considered for the role of Marketing Assistant, you will have previous practical marketing experience, looking for your next challenge. You will have excellent content creation skills, a creative flair, strong verbal & written communication ability, strong attention to details and experience of using Mailchimp and Canva.

In return, our client is offering a salary of £28,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience) for the role of Marketing Assistant, 31 days paid annual leave inclusive of statutory holidays, pension after qualifying period, social events, free on-site parking, birthday day off, potential of quarterly bonuses cased on company performance
