The UK Marketing function is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of the Bank by delivering fair outcomes for customers. It emphasizes understanding customers and developing brand marketing strategies, campaigns, and activities that support and strengthen the HSBC brand, drive revenue, and increase customer value and satisfaction to meet targets at the market level.

We are excited to announce an opening for a Marketing Communications Manager. You will develop customer communications as part of the Customer Communications Centre of Excellence, working with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and collaborating with CRM & Analytics to define communication strategies and plans.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Leading the creation of high-quality, relevant, clear, and consistent communications from briefing to delivery.
  2. Managing the marketing budget for maximum efficiency and ROI.
  3. Ensuring campaign activities are delivered on time, within governance, and risk controls, obtaining necessary approvals.
  4. Developing compelling agency briefs with clear objectives and targets.
  5. Providing constructive challenge and innovative solutions for complex issues.
  6. Curating performance reports to generate actionable insights.
Minimum requirements:
  1. Experience in developing and delivering customer communications within financial services or large corporate organizations.
  2. Ability to analyze complex information and craft relevant, timely customer communications.
  3. Experience managing multi-channel, multi-step campaigns.
  4. Excellent communication skills, adaptable to different audiences and messages.
  5. Strong stakeholder relationship and influence skills.
  6. Commercial awareness and understanding of product profitability.
  7. Project and people management skills, with a track record of delivering on time and within budget.

This is a hybrid role based in Birmingham, Sheffield, Leeds, or Chester, requiring three days onsite per week.
